WoW Forever may bring back one of Classic WoW's most distinctive dungeon concepts: the mega dungeon. Senior game designer Josh Greenfield recently teased a large dungeon experience that could allow players to spend hours exploring, similar to the old Blackrock Depths. While Blizzard has not officially confirmed that WoW Forever will add a new mega dungeon, the previously revealed Blackmaw Hold for level 55+ players has made the idea especially interesting. A future mega dungeon could go beyond bosses and loot by offering exploration, professions, gathering, and other activities.
