Spot the Best COD MW4 Enemy Clusters With U4GM
Raining Thunder is about making three mortar shots count, not firing as quickly as possible. You need fifteen enemy eliminations across three consecutive rounds, so a weak opening hit can spoil the attempt. If you're exploring MW4 Bot Lobbies for multiplayer, keep this objective separate: it's a campaign challenge built around a scripted defensive position. Choose Recruit difficulty before starting. The extra breathing room makes it easier to watch where soldiers gather instead of rushing a shot because you're taking damage.
Know when your opportunity starts
The mortar section arrives during Losing Ground, the fifth campaign mission, as Park's squad retreats toward a bridge during the nighttime evacuation of Hajin City. You'll take over the launcher aboard Dragon 6-4 after its gunner is killed. Once you're on the weapon, pay attention to its four range settings. They control where each shell lands, and simply pointing at a crowd isn't enough. You don't have to squeeze all three shots into a few seconds. Consecutive means keeping the successful rounds together, without wasting one between them.
Make the opening shell worth it
Start by looking left, toward the hillside below the large burning apartment building. Set the range to three, then hold fire until the soldiers have gathered into a tight group. This is where patience pays off. A shell that catches five or more enemies gives you a useful start; one aimed at a couple of scattered targets leaves too much work for the next two rounds. Watch the ground around the group rather than chasing individual figures with the sight. You want the blast to cover their shared position.
Bring the second round closer
After the opening impact, turn right and look along the main street. Civilian cars give you a clear reference for the nearer landing zone, but check for fleeing civilians before firing. Let them get clear. When the next enemy group moves up and settles around the closest vehicles, reduce the range to two. Place the second shell between those cars. Don't leave the setting at three out of habit, or you'll send it beyond the soldiers you're trying to catch. This shot is about the nearer wave, not the reinforcements behind it.
Save the deeper group for your third shot
Keep watching that same street, then return the range to three for the troops gathering farther back near the transport truck. Give them time to unload and bunch together before sending the third shell. If those three blasts total fifteen eliminations, the achievement should appear before the incoming BMP ends your mortar opportunity. Unlike the multiplayer sessions associated with CoD MW4 Bot Lobby, this attempt comes down to reading a fixed encounter. Remember the positions: left hillside, nearby cars, then the distant truck.
